Sculptra for Collagen Induction

Sculptra Aesthetic is a collagen induction agent made up of Poly L Lactic Acid (PLLA). PLLA is commonly used in absorbable sutures and is biologically inactive except for the induction of collagen during its metabolism by the body. It was initially studied and approved for the treatment of AIDS related wasting especially in the temporal hollows.
